Any text communication from us will only relate to essential service matters, such as repair status updates or appointment confirmations. Your information is used solely to communicate with you about your repair, provide estimates and receipts, process payments, and maintain accurate records. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties.
We take reasonable measures to safeguard your information against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. Any data we store is protected through secure systems and password-protected devices. When you leave your device with us, we take care to protect your data, though we recommend backing up and removing sensitive information before service when possible. Service records and contact details are retained only as long as needed for business, legal, or tax purposes, after which they are securely deleted or destroyed.

Terms and Conditions

By requesting or authorizing repair, diagnostic, or related services from Nassau Computer Repairs/Synposium Computing LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), the customer (“you” or “your”) agrees to the following terms and conditions. While some agreements may be made verbally in the course of normal business, we strive to put all important details, estimates, and authorizations in writing to ensure clear communication and mutual understanding.
We perform diagnostics and repairs to the best of our professional ability based on the inforAmation you provide. Any estimate given is based on an initial inspection and may change if additional issues are discovered during service. If the cost of a repair is expected to exceed the original estimate, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you for approval before proceeding. Diagnostic fees, parts, and labor costs will be clearly communicated prior to billing whenever possible.
You are responsible for backing up any personal data before bringing in your device. While we take precautions to protect your files and information, Nassau Computer Repairs/Synposium Computing LLC is not responsible for data loss, corruption, or incidental damages that may occur during diagnosis or repair. If data recovery is requested, we will do our best to assist, but successful recovery cannot be guaranteed.
Repairs inherently involve some risk, and Nassau Computer Repairs/Synposium Computing LLC and its employees are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to data loss, software issues, or device malfunction resulting from services performed. In any case, our liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service rendered.
We may use new, used, or refurbished parts depending on availability and suitability for your repair. Any warranty on parts or labor will be clearly stated at the time of service; if no warranty is specified, services are provided “as is” without any guarantee. Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, are the responsibility of the customer to pursue directly with the manufacturer.
Devices left unclaimed for more than 45 days after completion and notification may be subject to storage fees, and after 90 days may be considered abandoned and disposed of or recycled in accordance with local regulations. Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing, and devices may be held until full payment is received. We accept cash, checks, and digital payments from Venmo or Paypal, and returned checks or failed payments may incur additional fees.
Although verbal agreements may occur during the repair process, they are considered valid only when consistent with these terms. We make every effort to confirm all major details such as pricing, scope of work, and timelines in writing through email, text, or invoice.
By submitting your device for repair or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
